Documents required to avail SIM Card

This is to inform all that our SIMs Cards will henceforth be issued only as per the provision of the following documents:

1. Citizenship Identification Card (CID) for Bhutanese Nationals.
2. Passport for all Foreigners (except Indians) and,
3. Immigration permit for Indians (tourist or daily wage worker) For daily wage workers, an additional undertaking of Bhutanese employer must be obtained.
4. Indian residents in border areas – Voter card with authenticated address of the local business establishment.
